For the holiday season, RPA and Farmers Insurance teamed up with Red One to create a co-branded campaign that blends J.K. Simmons’ role as Santa Claus in the film with Farmers’® iconic spokescharacter, Professor Burke. Farmers Insurance came to us with a fun opportunity and a unique challenge: finding a way to blend Simmons' two roles while seamlessly tying into our current “Don’t Compromise” campaign to raise awareness for both Farmers Insurance and the Red One film.
In this extension of “Don’t Compromise,” Professor Burke explains that some things—like Santa’s sleigh or quality insurance coverage—are simply too important to compromise, all while humorously and subtly nodding to Simmons’ role as Santa Claus in Red One.
This collaborative effort involved coordinating with key stakeholders, including J.K. Simmons, filmmakers, Amazon, and Farmers. Running on holiday-themed networks like HGTV and Hallmark, as well as on social platforms, the campaign connects with our target audience, holiday movie fans, and a younger demographic.
